The EC-funded MoveS network (Free Movement and Social Security Coordination) will organise a seminar in Coimbra (Portugal) on Friday 7 November 2025.
The seminar is organised by MoveS in collaboration with its Portuguese national expert prof. Mariana Geraldo and with the support of Emellin de Oliveira and Francisco Pereira Coutinho. MoveS is an EC-funded network of independent experts from 32 European countries coordinated by Eftheia and Deloitte.
Residence is a key category when discussing the coordination of social security systems. This seminar will examine how the right of residence impacts access to benefits, from unemployment protection to healthcare, and how coordination challenges emerge at the intersection of residence and mobility. The way the right of residence granted to third-country nationals might affect the posting of workers will also be addressed.
If you wish to participate in the seminar, please contact the MoveS management (moves [dot] seminars
eftheia [dot] eu (moves[dot]seminars[at]eftheia[dot]eu)). Participation is free of charge. Please note that all costs connected to the participation in the seminar (travel, accommodation) are at the participants' expense. Admission is subject to availability of seating. The agenda is subject to possible modifications.
