IBPS Clerk Exam 2023 Quantitative Aptitude: Quantitative Aptitude is one of the most significant areas of the IBPS Clerk Exam, with 35 questions for 35 marks. The majority of applicants fear Quantitative Aptitude since it requires a lot of calculation and complicated problems that demand high analytical as well as aptitude abilities. To answer the questions in such a short amount of time, applicants must demonstrate conceptual clarity as well as quickness. IBPS Clerk Syllabus 2023 is quite similar to any other bank exam. The key three parts that a candidate must master in order to pass the IBPS Clerk 2022 Preliminary Exam are:

  • Reasoning Ability
  • Quantitative Aptitude 
  • English Language

When a candidate passes the Preliminary Exam, he or she must begin studying for the Mains Exam. The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam 2023 consists of four components, which are listed below:

  • Computer Aptitude & Reasoning Ability 
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • English Language
  • General/ Financial Awareness

IBPS Clerk Exam 2023 Pattern for Preliminary Exam

The IBPS Clerk 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern has undergone significant modifications. The IBPS Clerk preliminary test is held online, and applicants have 1 hour to finish the preliminary exam (20 minutes for each part).

Candidates must qualify in all three exams by achieving IBPS-determined cut-off marks. A sufficient number of applicants in each category will be shortlisted for the Online Main test, as determined by IBPS based on the prerequisites.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern for Mains Exam

According to the most recent IBPS update, the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now consist of 190 questions that must be answered in 160 minutes.

Previously, the Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Sections were held separately. However, in the most recent IBPS update, both of these portions have been combined to form 50 questions that must be answered in 45 minutes. Both the preliminary and main exams will be administered in both English and Hindi.

IBPS Clerk 2023 Marking Scheme

  1. IBPS Clerk has a different marking scheme for prelims and main exams. However, a negative marking of 0.25 of the allotted marks is applicable in both exams.
  2. IBPS Clerk 2023 Preliminary question paper will be 100 marks.
  3. Each question will carry one mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  4. IBPS Clerk 2023 Main question paper will be 200 marks.
  5. Each question from the General/ Financial Awareness, General English, and Quantitative Aptitude sections will carry 1 mark while an incorrect answer will cost you 0.25 marks.
  6. Each question from the Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude section will be 1.20 marks and 0.30 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in this section.
  7. Candidates will have to clear the overall cutoff and sectional cutoff separately in both prelims and main exams.

IBPS Clerk Exam 2023 Quantitative Aptitude Important Topics

IBPS Clerk 2023 is divided into two tiers. These are the Preliminary and Mains exams. Aspirants have 60 minutes to complete three areas of the IBPS Clerk 2022 examination: Reasoning Ability, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. Aspirants must pass each section's cut-off.
