Recruitment Process:
FactSet conducts 4 rounds to select freshers as Software Engineers in their organization.
- Coding Round
- Technical Round 1
- Technical Round 2
- HR Round
Academic Criteria:
- 70 percent or above in B.Tech, Class X and XII.
- No backlogs at the time of the interview
Written Round:
They generally conduct coding rounds on pen and paper. To clear this round you must be well prepared with data structures and algorithms. You should know trees, graphs, and dynamic programming.
Tips:
- Write complete and bug-free code.
- Check for boundary cases.
- Write clean code.
Technical Round:
The students who clear the written round are called for a Technical Interview. To clear this round you should be clear with your basics. You should be well prepared with database and data structure and algorithms. Students will be expected to write codes in the interview. You can expect a discussion on the projects you mentioned in the resume. You may be asked puzzles in this round.
Tips:
- Stay confident.
- Never seem to look confused.
- Take your time but speak with authority.
- It is better to avoid telling a term about which you don’t have proper knowledge.
- Make sure you make it a point to tell the interviewer about your strengths and what you are best at.
HR Round:
You can expect discussion on resumes, and general HR questions like :
- Questions about your projects.
- Questions about your internship.
- Where do you see yourself after 3 years?
- Do you want to go for higher studies?
- Are you willing to relocate to Hyderabad?
