17 November - 20 November: Committees and Political Groups
In the week of 17 November, Members' work is split between meetings in Parliamentary Committees and political groups. Working in committees, Members will vote on support for displaced Swedish workers, hear the DE Nominee for partial renewal of the European Court of Auditors and prepare recommendation, and hold 2024 Commission discharge hearings with Commissioners Brunner and Hansen. The annual hearing with the Chairs of the European Supervisory Authorities will be held, as well as a public hearing on "Tobacco Taxation", and an exchange of views on the olive oil sector. More events will take place this week, in particular, a discharge hearing with HR/VP Kallas, an exchange of views with Parliament's Directors-General, exchange on digital euro project, a public hearing on "Clean industrial deal and Energy Taxation Directive", an exchange on delegated act on Labelling for fruit and vegetables originating from Western Sahara, and trilogues on Strengthening of the position of farmers in the food supply chain, Unfair trading practices and the Simplification omnibus.
